Termites are active and widespread across Southern Arizona, including Tucson, which means the potential for termite damage is considered significant. It is essential to maintain an effective termite control program before these wood-destroying insects cause too much damage. If you own a home in Arizona, it is important to get a termite inspection from a professional termite control expert. Once a thorough inspection has been completed there are different termite control options and methods to help protect your home from termite infestations and damage.

Termite Control Options

Termite control treatments vary on several things including the type of termites, amount of infestation and type of foundation. At Conquistador Pest and Termite we treat where termites live, not what they eat. In most cases, a serious termite infestation will require the use of some chemicals, in order to minimize the risk of severe timber damage to a building. We use the highest quality Termidor® termiticide/insecticide that is undetectable to dry wood and subterranean termites. For dry wood termites, treatment can include spot treating by drilling and pressure treating the lumber where they live. For subterranean termites, treatment can include creating a "killing zone" around the exterior of the home, foaming, spot treating or drilling into the foundation. Warranty

All of our termite protection is warranted for one year and can be renewed. If you have a current contract and there are no termites, we can issue a warranty through Conquistador.
